Shamanic Medicine goes back 25,000 years originating within a wide number of indigenous cultures across the world. Shamanic healing is rooted in the belief that everything is energy and that all healing takes place on a spiritual level. The Shamanic Practitioner works to assist the individual in creating balance and harmony within the luminous or spiritual body. Often, unresolved issues from the past or current life traumas create illness when not addressed. Shamanic healing helps a person connect to their innate wisdom and intuition. It is for anyone seeking to address traumas, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, anxiety and stress. Shamanic healing sessions guide individuals to remember the wisdom of their hearts and gratitude for themselves and others.

A form of Folk Medicine that uses a holistic approach to healing and has been in the Americas for hundreds of years. It is known as medicina del campo, which means medicine from the country. Different techniques are used to remove stagnant energy or any energies that are negatively affecting someone’s health and well-being. Curanderismo uses a thoughtful blending of traditional indigenous and complimentary holistic practices. It often includes spiritual cleanings and prayer to restore balance and harmony. Illness or disease is considered a disharmony of all dimensions. This healing technique can be used alone or as an adjunct to your conventional medicine.
LIMPIAS
Limpias are a technique, most often used during Curanderismo, during a soul-cleansing ceremony.
An organic egg in its shell and rosemary are swept over the body to cleanse and absorb unwanted energies and shift energetic fields. The egg is then cracked in a glass of water and read and translated by the curandera (healer). This serves to sweep away dense or heavy energies that are collected as we move through daily life. The curandera also burns herbs such as sage, cedar, juniper, or copal (resin) to purify the environment and the body. This technique is helpful for individuals experiencing grief and loss or any form of trauma.
